When I picked up my paper this evening, I was greatly surprised to see that it was dated June 3, 1962. H-m-m-m, judging by the news it seems that my old classmates of 1952 are doing quite well. Here's an extra. Theodore Coleman, famius jet pilot, just finished a 'round-the-world, non-stop flight in one hour! My friend, Wilma Bryant, has been given the highest rank in the Army Nurses' Corps-Colonel. On the financial page I find that "Baron" Fredrick Coots has just made another "killing" on the Stock Market. He's now worth about 380,000,000 Dick Earle was recently elected President of the "Bachelors of America." I see by the increase of advertisements for motels that our twins, Jean and Joan Thomas, have just added twenty more motels to their chain. Phil Rigrish, who works as a scent sniffer in a large perfume factory, recently inherited 3,500,000 from a third cousin, twice removed. Lucky Phil! Since we had so many girls in our class, I'm not surprised to find many of their names on the Society Page. Our Shirley Thompson, now married, lives in the country, on a mink ranch and raises, in addition to the mink, dogs, children, and the largest watermelons in seventeen states. Here's a picture of Glenda King who has just been voted "The-Girl-With-Whom-We-Would-Like-to- Survive-an-Atomic-War" by the soldiers of Fort Knox. There is an interesting article about Margaret Renshaw's debut at Carnegie Hall. fl remember how she used to practice on uslj I see Pat Davis, Joyce Doughty, and Shirley Holt were named as Washington's three most outstanding secretaries. Joyce Hutchins, our nation's number one homemaker, is giving a Good-Neighbor Tour of farms in the country. Miss Barbara Rice, R.N., has just received an award for her outstanding service in child care. Barbara Morgan received the French Medal of Honor for her exceptional nursing with tubercular cases' in France. Mary Ellen Funk is makingquite a name for herself in the Theatrical World. The Burke and Burkes Construction Company is doing well. Leora Burke and Jack Harvey Burkes have constructed a thousand modern high schools. Well, well, if the great inspector of airplane accidents isn't our old classmate, Ellen Pettay. She always did enjoy the study of airplanes. Many of my friends should appear in the sports section-so they do: The Women's Athletic League has just won another feat at the Olympics. And why not? Their coach is Bonnie Brown. Bob Kalach appears a little wet in this picture, but that is because he has swum the English Channel, both ways, doing a back stroke. There's a rush in the baseball field. Frank Selent fSaltyJ is being bargained for by three national clubs. Oh! Well, I still say the comics are my favorite when it comes to reading a newspaper. There has been a new strip added. Jimmy Musgrove is the author of a sensational new hit called "Jasper's Wagons." If you would like a copy of this paper, write to the editor, Rose De Gregorio: I'm sure she desires new subscribers to add to her big circulation of one! ' THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE SENIOR CLASS OF '52 lVe, the Senior Class of 1952, known to be of unsound mind, do hereby declare this to be our last will and testament: To Mr. Kingsolver we leave "Best Wishes." To Mr. Roberts the boys leave their draft cards, and the girls leave . . . To the Faculty we bequeath a box of aspirin that they may be prepared for the Seniors of '53. To the Juniors we leave "our little red wagon" to pull. To the Sophomores we will a percentage of the heat in the Senior Room. To the Freshmen we bequeath the will to become Seniors. To the Eighth Grade we leave silent corridors and "plenty of room in Detention." Bonnie Brown gives all her mail from Guam to Laura Lee Fullerton. Wilma Bryant' leaves her position as cheerleader to Betsy Boal. Jack Burkes bequeaths "his way with girls" to Ray Paulsen. Leora Burke leaves her swimming ability at Gammon Field House to any girl who won't get water-logged. Ted Coleman gives his athletic ability to Eugene Richardson and hopes that he becomes eligible. Fred Coots leaves his grades in English IV to Dave Hollingsworth. Pat Davis wills herself out of High School. . Rose De Gregorio leaves her conscience to Bob Hammack. Joyce Doughty wills her wrestling championship and manager, Salty, to Patsy Perry. Good Luck! Dick Earle leaves his ties to Roy Fryxell. Mary Ellen Funk gives a bottle of aspirin and the School Paper to Norma Curtis. Shirley Holt bequeaths her height to Betty Musgrove. - Joyce Hutchins wills her seat in U. S. History to Gwynne Lewis. Bob Kalach leaves anything he has to anybody who wants it. Glenda King wills her vim, vigor, and vitality to Bob Murch. Barbara Morgan bequeaths her long hair to Joyce Stiles and her job as secretary to Mr. Matarazzo to Mar Duff. Jim Musgrove wills his draft card to Bob Hammack and his good grades in English to Bob Maskalick. Ellen Pettay bequeaths her ability to "catch and hold a swimming champion" to Jean Brock. Lurline Phillips is keeping all of her property-in case of future needs. Margaret Renshaw wills her "Tintair" and her driving ability to Miss Schlinker and her best chocolate cake to "Ba." Barbara Rice bequeaths her math ability to Mr. VVilliams and his future Physics Classes. Phil Rigrish wills his job as "Manager" to Ernie Buso. Frank Selent wills his "write-ups" to the team of '53. Jean Thomas leaves her long eyelashes to all girls who have short ones. 1 Joan Thomas wills a bobby pin to John Frame to hold back his curl, and her clean shoes to Rose De Gregorio. Shirley Thompson leaves her English and government notes to her sister, Barbara. These favors we leave in good faith: we beg that you accept them-and use them.
