EXECUTIVE OFFICER LCDR Eric J. Baltrush Lieutenant Commander Baltrush graduated in June 1975 from San Diego State University gaining his commission from Officers Candidate School. He served his initial sea tour in USS TRlPOLl QLPH-'IOJ serving as Electronic Warfare Officer and then split touring to deck department. He attended Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, graduating in September 1987, earning a subspecialty in Transportational Sciences. His other tours include, USS DUPONT QDD-9413 as Operations Officer, USS MANITOWOC QLST-11805 as Shlp's Engineer in Diesels, and then as Staff Readiness Officer on the Staff of Commander, Amphibious Group ONE. Lieutenant Commander Baltrush reported to relieve as Executive Officer USS FORT FISHER QLSD-405 from the staff of Commander, Amphibious Group ONE in Okinawa, Japan. His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal lGold star in lieu of second awardl and the Humanitarian Service Medal. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baltrush of Arcadia, California. He is married to the former Ms. Winnie Panjig. 14
