Stoneburner Mrs. Kuebler CAFETERIA When the new High School was built five years ago, a cafeteria was installed because of the brevity of the noon period. It is the purpose of the cafeteria to give good lunches at a low cost to the students. Mrs. Collamer, who has charge of the cafeteria, is assisted by Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Rutherford, and Mrs. Kuebler, who help with the preparation of the lunches and supervise the serving: Aileen Mason is the cashier: Miss Epley takes charge of the cashg ten girls help with the serving, and five boys clear the trays and run the dish-washer. The students who work in the cafeteria are given their lunches free of charge for their services, and are dismissed from their noon classes ten minutes early in order that they may eat before the hungry school mob arrives for its lunch. It is customary for the students to pay for their lunches as they leave the cafeteria, but in some cases, credit is extended to a person if he prom-Q ises to pay his check the following day. 1 Besides the regular school lunches, the cafeteria force is responsible for the preparation of the food for many of the school parties, banquets and picnics. God helps those who help themselves. PAGE 'l'VV ENTY-IN I NF'
