Foreword Just as the Fort Ashby Elementary and the Fort Ashby High School are united by the links of knowledge, so it is the purpose of the 1967 FORTRESS to link our memories with the events of the past year. Let us pause ’mid the wonders of Life to bring forth on these pages the golden moments of time---time just past. As remembrance is a yearbook’s purpose, the FORTRESS serves well only if it causes readers to remember high school in Fort Ashby 1966-1967.
