Q,-Q an ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL The role of the elementary teacher and principal can be compared to that of a gardener. Je are fortunate in the elementary school in that we receive a fertile field to work with and we can sow the seeds of learning and watch the plant grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and SOCl811J strong. Not always do the plants grow as they should but by encourage ment and extra care, along with some pruning and straightening, many of the plants that are weaker or less mature can be saved to fulfill their purpose on this earth. Finally after seven years of careful tending, the child ren are transplanted to the school upon the Hlll, witn the hope that they will be a credit to themselves, their parents, and to us. ml Ja Bm-w on , E ,ffm 5 1 i
