Siefwbz 6644 pfzoiaziecy This is in May, 1982, and we take a look at what the members of the class of 1962 are doing. I left the town of Forestburg, which by the way is the Capitol of Texas. My first stop was in Bolivar, where I visited Peggy who is still trying to decide between four men. From there, I went on to Gainesville and came upon Kent and Tommy who are running a body shop and garage to repair their own cars. I traveled north to Oklahoma City where I encountered Vernon who was playing basketball for Oklahoma City University. From Oklahoma City, I went south to New Orleans where Elaine is running a nightclub and Pat is a singer and Shirley is adancer. I traveled on to Baton Rouge where Ennis has taken over the singing and' the Crovernor's job from Jimmy Davis. Icame back into Texas and my first stop was in Beaumont where Elbert is keeping up the trend of corruption by being mayor. I went on to Houston and went to the largest department store where Mary and Jody are selling baby rattlers, On my way down the street, I met Eugene, who is running a Lonely Hearts Club. I came back to Azle and found Linda, who is still waiting on Skeeter to get out of the army, but he has decided that the army is not as rough as Linda. From the looks of the people, they will not be alive for my next visit in twenty years. PEOPLES NATIONAL BANK Prompt, Courteous, Efficient Service Member F. D. I. C. . The first Rhythm Band consisted of eighteen members of the first and second grades. fFour third grad- ers were in the original group.J In 1960, the first four grades were combined, making a total of twenty-eight members, but it re- mains a project of only the first four grades. In April of 1961, the group was presented on the television program, "Date1ine", W. B. A. P. -TV in Fort Worth. The children love the Rhythm Band, but they have found that it is more hard work than Play, We feel h timid ones. Both the children and the that this is very beneficial to children, especiallyt e more teachers feel that the extra effort is well worth while.
