f fi E- X The Beta Club was founded on the principals of character, lead- ership, and achievement. As a service club their main objective is to serve the school as well as the community. The year opened with a cookout in September. The year was full with service projects one of which was doing inventory at Fiichway. ln De- cember 36 new members were inducted into the club bringing the Beta Club to a total of 118 students. February came bring- ing the state Beta Club Conven- tion. The year ended with the decoration of the arch for gradu- ation. I feel honored to represent the Beta Club. It makes me feel proud to know that the Beta Club has a voice in what goes on in our school Betsy Whatley. I was so glad that our float won third place in the Homecoming Pa- rade, especially after all the strenuous work and effort put in by all the members Angela Diamon.
