,M GFOIQEIG -1 I Ai' ' In the year '78-79, the Spanish Club had a busy schedule. In September they had their first meeting at Western Sizzler for the new members. During Home- coming they made a foreign language float with the French Club. ln January the Spanish Club had the Rock-a-thon to collect money for a charity and to help boost the Spanish Club. During February, everyone in the Spanish Club as-well-as the Spanish classes were busy making projects for the Foreign Language Festival in Valdosta. in March they entered the Creative Arts Festival at Clayton Jr. College. April brought a trip to Mexico for a week during Spring Holidays. The last thing of the year was the 9th grade Reception and end of the year party. l really like Mr. Fernandez, he goes out of his way to help you when necessary. He is also fun to be around Doug Drew. I joined the Spanish club to get involved with people . . . Mike Ber- iauit.Miss Crocker is a wonderful person and she's a lot of fun to be around. I like her teaching style. She's someone l'm proud to call my friend . . . Melissa Parker.
