The Christmas Concert was held at Forest Park United Methodist Church. The Choirs performed at the foot of a 40 foot Christmas tree with lights placed on the tree in honor of people chosen by the Chorus. The tree was lit during a special time of the performance. There were nine guest faculty speak- ers to present the nine lessons ot Christmas. The Concert Choir gave its annual perfor- mance of Amahl and the Night Visitors on January 29. The Handbell Choir also went to the Georgia Music Educators Con- vention in Jekyl island in Janu- ary. The Chorus gave another Pops Concert in February, The Choirs went to the sixth District Choral festival in March where they received superior ratings.
