vw 12! Opening The week of Homecoming was filled with excitement as well as involvement. The week began with the Burn the Bird contest and was followed by Backward Boro Day. Wednesday everyone wore tags and jerseys to support their individual clubs and organizations because it was Proud Crowd Day. Team Appreciation Day on Thursday was climaxed by the largest Homecoming Parade ever at Forest Park and a spirit building bonfire. Firday came very slow for the students as everyone was anxious for the big evening to begin. Along with Home- coming that night was the Jonesboro game and at halftime we were on the way to a victory. halftime with Fran Clark being crowned Queen and Princesses Wendy Twilley and Lana Goss. The night was brought to a perfect end with a score of Forest Park 18 and Jonesboro 13. Continuing with the spirit of Homecoming was the dance. Student Council introduced a theme for the entire year, Panthers Stand Tall Over All.
