higher schools of learning and then take their places in the service
of God and humanity
The Board of Trustees is constantly trying to improve the tacilf
ities of this school- This is evident by the large new auditorium which
will be used tor assemblies and recreation. The graduation exercises
for the class ot 1954 mark the first use of this new building. The Board
of Trustees is also giving consideration to further expansion in the
near future.
The friends of Forest Lake Academy and the constituency ul the

she can and dces her very best with everything. The
only thing that seems to affect her usual calmness is con-
cieled people. We know she'll do a good job as a sec-
retary.
Ambition: Medical Doctor
HOMETOWN: Havana, Cuba
Havana, Cuba, claims this tall blonde senior who has
only been with us one year, He is a hard worker and
a good leader. His pet peeve, "people who brag" is the
opposite of his modest nature. We know that Dr. Schoen
will be a big success in the medical field.

AMBITICN: Nurse
HOMETOWN: Battle Creelg, Michigan
This tall, intelligent senior is a music-loving girl who is
an artist at the piano. For a girl, it's strange but true ihat
her pet peeve is ladies' hats. Crystal studies hard and
seems to like chemistry class. Her interest in science will

AMBITION: Teacher
HOMETONVN: Lake City, Florida ft
Shirley's another Florida gal with lots of pep, leadershi:
and resourcelulness. The girls admired her and chose
her as the Dresident of the girls' club during the first
semester. She always does more than her share of the
work which is probably the reason her pet peeve is peo-
pel who don't do their part. She hopes to become a
teacher.

AMBITION: Public Accountant
HOMETOWN: Maitland, Florida
"Tinker" with her merry eyes and bashiul dimples has
won a place in our hearts. She lives in the Village and
walks to school each moming. She won't speak to people
who cfll her Annie Lee but insists on being called "Tinker"
instead. In a few years we are apt to see her looking
very dignified behind a desk with a sign reading "Public
Accountant."

Pat's the girl to tell stories that make your eyes pop
out, and she'll deliberately keep you in suspense as long
as possible. We all love her lor her cheerful dispoiti n
