BETA CLUB The Forest Hill Beta Club, a service organization, is based on good mentality and character, creditable achievement, and commendable attitude. The purpose of die organization is to promote the ideals of honesty, service, and leadership, to reward meritorious achievement, and to encourage and assist students to continue their education. The activities include sponsoring delegates to Youth Congress, providing library assistants, preparing boxes for die needy, keeping a scrapbook, presenting a talent show, and contributing to die National Beta Educational Fund.

STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council was organized for the purpose of improving Forest Hill School in every way. It strives to promote a better relationship between teachers and pupils, to foster an invigorating school spirit, and to stimulate a wholesome interest between school and community. It is composed of representatives from each of the homerooms, a reporter, and three faculty advisors. These representatives take their responsibilities seriously and serve with pride and dignity. It is their wholehearted desire to see Forest Hill students grow in all ways in favor with God and man. I 94
