CLUBS The 4-H Club is an organization of about 2, 5000, 000 rural and urban young people between the ages of ten and twenty-one. The objectives are set forth in the 4-H Pledge: I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, my health to better living, for my club, my community, and my country. The FHA motto is Toward New Horizons. It reminds members that their contributions to home life today will influence the kinds of homes they have tomorrow. The flower is the red rose. It represents the search of Future Homemakers of America for beauty in everyday living. FHA 4-H

The Latin Club has several objectives of special importance: to stimulate interest in subject matter, to study more about Greek and Roman customs, and to acquire a broader concept for becoming better persons. The club strives to encourage students to acquire culture and appreciation of beauty, as well as the love for the finer things in life, so that they may live happily and at peace with themselves and their friends. JLUBS Latin Club 101 Many are the signs of growth around our campus and very evident among them is the tremendous expansion of our library facilities. Our librarian, Mrs. Ramsey, would be the first to extol the splendid work of the Library Club. The members of this club arc library assistants, performing routine duties in the library and learning the various facets of library work. Library Club

Because there are hidden thoughts in a girl's mind deeper than laughter, because there arc hidden yearnings in a girl's heart, because there is a desire in a girl's soul to know God and His goodness, our Y-Teen clubs were formed. They were organized that girls might come together to discuss things important to each one, that they might learn how to spread among all girls the spirit of enthusiasm, service and friendship. The Forest Hill Y-Teens have in their membership three seventh grade groups, five eighth grade groups, one ninth grade group, and one senior high group. A total of ten groups of young women here belong to a world-wide fellowship of women and girls of every race, creed, and color. T-TEENS T- TEENS
