What is a Senior? What is a Senior? A Senior is first of all a person, usually a busy person. A Senior perches proudly yet precariously atop a mountain of twelve school years and is a sort of god to all below. Seniors possess an amazing zest for living; everything must be the best because soon everything will be done for the last time. Their enthusiastic cheers and their hurried step in the hall will become only echoes; winning teams they comprised will be no more and each member will take a separate road away from Forest Hill. They cannot stop time; instead they make the best of it. A Senior's task is to accomplish and his obligations are many; annual, paper, committee, and club are all in the daily routine. As their year draws to a close with Prom and parties galore, they become the sole owners of Senior cards and maybe a medal or two. Then, too, soon the time will come when a Senior becomes a Graduate and the Class of '60 will close the book of high school years and tuck it away in a very safe and dear place. 101
