k,
The task of the American Public School has changed with our social, economic and
cultural history. Many basic changes in the structure of society during the past one-half
century have had a marked effect on our educational pattern,
The basic foundation of our educational system depends on the untiring efforts of our
elementary teaching staff, It is here that the fundamental processes are taught and the
proper school attitudes formed. This good elementary program must be followed by a
secondary program which provides a general education to all' future citizens, a vocational
program for those who need their skills soon after graduation, and a satisfactory program
for those who desire to further their education in institutions of higher learning,
I look to the future of our community and to our patrons increased awareness of our
educational progress.
