' 1 ' fo L W , 'Nm 9 0 0 I yj' 3. 5 Class Hlstory In order to present a clear and accurate summary of the Class of 1950 1951 we shall have to go back to our Freshman year 1947 1948 The Freshman year began September 3 1947 wxth an enrollment of thirty seven Our first socmal event was a class party which was held at the gyrnna S1UI!'l Cand1dates for Prmce Charmlng and Beauty Queen were Genavle Fulton and B111 Byrd Much to our dlsappomtment we came 1n third In our Freshman year and durlng the summer we lost twelve students Class offrcers were Presldent Bonnelle Clevenger Vice Presldent Genavle Fulton Secretary Treasurer B111 Byrd Our Sophomore year began September 4 1948 wlth an enrollment of thrrty three A class party was held at Jaunlta Banks Class offlcers were Presldent, Kathaleen Burks V1ce Pres1dent Elmer Ragan Secretary Treasurer, Shrrley Mack Carmval candldates were Martha Eads and Elmer Ragan The Sophomores gave a one act play Comm Round The Mountarn Our JHHIOI' year began w1th more no1se the Jumors knew then' way around We had an enrollment of thlrty Class offxcers were Presldent, Donald Jones V1ce Presldent Buddy Rotzlnger Secretary Treasurer B111 Byrd Carnival candxdates were Wanda Cornehson and Jamle Lxtty The J'u.mors gave a class Hos1ner Shrrley Smxth Shirley Mack Jamie Lrtty, B111 John Donald Jones, Donna Shaver Kathaleen Burks Buddy Rotz1nger Elmer Ragan The .Tumors ordered the1r class rxngs to be delxvered the fxrst of thelr Sen1or year Our Semor year started w1th an enrollment of twenty mne later losrng one boy to the Navy We rece1ved our class rlngs the second week of school and are very proud of them Sneak Day was also held the second week of school The Semors took a Jaunt to Rockaway Beach for the day later gomg on to Branson Forsyth and Holhster From there to Sprmgfzeld, where all ate supper at Atlee The class then d1v1ded up and went to varlous shows The Semors held a skating party, later meetlng at the home of Jaunlta Banks for refreshments Carnlval candldates were Kathaleen Burks and Bxlly .Toe Iohn Three cheers we won The Semors gave two one act plays The Rrvals and So Th1s ls Mrnk These plays were sponsored by the Engllsh teacher, Miss Clough Sen1or week actlvltles were varled and greatly enjoyed by all The hlghlxght of the week, of course was Commencement whlch was held Thursday May 17 The Senlors were g1ven a dellghtful banquet by the Jumors On the Saturday night following Commencement the Semors gave a banquet for the Alumm We have enjoyed our four years at good old F H S Donna Shaver Shxrley Smlth Sh1 rley Mack Ioan Rose 15 O 9 ' .
