K 1 v 4 ,K 6 Amazing Animators The 1986 homecoming floats were created around the theme HThe Wonderful World of Animationfl The seniors constructed the WaltDis- ney character 'iDumbo, the juniors built i'The Jetsons, the sophomores made 'iSnoopy, and the freshmen were unable to complete a float for the competition. Those Mustangs who were able to complete a float were very creative in their choice of materials. They used pomps, wire, wood, Spray paint, card board, ana' most of all plenty of spirit, The final judging was made by a combination of local merchants ana' junior high school teachers.
