A new person has been seen in the superintendent's
office this year. She has added much to our school.
Without her, we would have no hot lunch menus or
checks, no candy bars for sale, and no duplicating
of teachers' tests. The class of 1958 appreciates
your help, Mrs. Lahey, and will not forget your
cheerful smile.
In these days of increased devotion to
education we must keep our sights on
the evolving purposes of education, we
must not resist changeg we must look
ahead and be willing to experiment
with new ideas and in this way our
progams for allyouth willbe enriched.

Educating people, young or old, is al-
ways looked upon by educators as a
tremendous responsibility toward youth
and the progress of our nation. If edu-
cators lacked this sense of responsibi-
lity, they probably would not continue
long in their chosen profession. This
conviction, along with the reward and
enjoyment that comes from working
with cooperative, enthusiastic, ener-
getic youth in trying to develop an
alert, inquisitive mind, helps motivate
teachers to do a better job. Students
at F. H. S. have continued to give
this encouragement and we sincerely
hope you willcontinue to strive for the
betterment of yourself, your country,
and the world. - Richard C. Manson
