When you thought the Ninth Grade Area was almost a sacred shrine?. . .When take a lap was what you got. for just those little mistakes in Gym?. . .The fright, the buckling knees when you first went in to see the Vice-Princ !pal?. . .Or the Pep Rallies?. . .Or the games?. . . This is seventh grade. Eighth grade. Do you remember how you felt? Being older than the seventh graders, but younger than the ninth graders'?. . .Remember the dances? l And ninth grade. Being the oldest, the ones with the responsibility, the ones to make or break the ,chool image, the ones cheering loudest when your varsity team battled another, 5 These years at Fontana Junior High School are years of growing and developing, not only your academip talents, but your own personality, and your ideas about the worldg about life. T As each day at FJHS passes, you may grow a little bit more, become a bit more mature. It is up to you to take the initiative, to make the most of your abilities, to take advantage of all the opportunities offered you. The Class of '70 is leaving, and a new class will take its place.
