Queen Lois Hansen and her at- tendants, Pat Calhoun, Sherry Huey, and Judy Easton led the parade that started at five o'clock in Rancho Cordova and moved on to Folsom. At half time of the Varsity game, Queen Lois was crowned by Varsity Captain, Robert Miller. She was escorted by game co- captain Jim Beard. The Senior Princess, Pat Calhoun was escorted by co-captain Calvin Websterg Junior Princess Sherry Huey, by Mike Critzg and Sophomore Prin- cess, Judy Easten, by Virgil Carter. Gaining momentum as the season progressed, the Bulldogs wound up in third place in the Mid- Valley Conference, and dominated the consola- tion bracket at the Auburn Tournament. On occasion referred to as Jennings Diaper Crops, i the average age of the team at season's end was 15 yrs. 10 mos. i Virgil Carter scored 133 points in league play to rank third in the conferenceg Steve Hagen with 107 was fourth.
