One of the biggest improvements in our school was the establishment of a Student Council, sponsored by Miss Literski and Mr. Rancour. There were two representatives from each class, and three from the senior class. Officers were Bill Kotsmith, Marie Tal-berg, and Lorreta Denfield. In November Bill, Marie, and Miss Literski attended a convention in Minneapolis. The Student Council members acted as moni tors in the halls and in the lunch room. They sponsored a Sno-Ball in January and a variety of assembly programs. The council was a member of the National Society of Student Councils.
