SENIOR III CLASS PROPHECY
Ladies and gentlemen--and all the rest here
assembled: here's what I found in the Alumni
Section of the Foley high School Gossip, page 5,
column 3, under the l5 years from now comments.
I think you'll be interested, for who isn't in-
terested in gossip whether it be now or some other
time. Llease listen anyway.
Ruth Jones, Great opera singer on the Steam-
boat Blues will visit Foley within the next week.
Older residents will remember her as the Former
Rachel Hamilton, brilliant member of the class
H?TY3T'i"""'
James Allen is the captain of the Wingless air-
plane which is scheduled to make a stop here on
next Wednesday on its regular world tour flight.
It is said that the ship has made the world tour
in a time record of 35 hours, 3 min. and one-half
second.
who doesn't like the Funnies? A new cartoonist
will make his appearance in the Saint Louis rost-
Dispatch next Sunday. he runs a strip entitled,
rink-eye, the Snail Eater. He draws pictures
under the name of Jim, the Ant Killer, but in real
life he is Oscar Little.
All!Fouls Three Ring Circus will be in town
next week. The show is managed by Elbert Rhodes.
Iron man Edward Wenzel and funny face Carter Morse
are features of the show. Lois Dukes, fancy rider
will be there with her famous horse, Whitehead.
The odds of the betting are placed on the
Popular farty's candidate for president. Statis-
tics and straw votes indicate he will carry the
state of uproar, and the state of unrest. his
name is Glenn Hill.
The Olympic games are to be held in Bicora
Swaum next summer. among the contestants for the
ten yard dash appear the names of Riley Orrell,
Maxwell Styron, Leon hemp, Clyde Long. A noted
woman runner, Bernice Nielson, will also compete
against outstanding rivals.

T e song hit of the season is the work of that
famous composer of Tin ian Alley, Jesse iorter.
The catchy, snatchy little title is, Hwhen the!
Moon Shines, There's No Fog ln My Eyes But You.H
One of the worlds best sellers seems be Hhow
to Chew More and Bigger Wads of Gum.H It took
ten years to write this book. The name Uinfred
Howell appears as the author,
Ruth Schindler, the smartest girl in the class
of '37, is found in New York trying to find out
all the gossip she missed while in school.

The New York Giants Baseball team is on top
in the League. Look, no wonder, here we find
Authur Epperson. Roy is he goodl He hasn't made
an error in lx games. he really knows how to
carry the water bucket.
Look who's in hollywood--Richard Deering.
Gosh, some guys have all the Hhlushlu

FOOTBALL
Winfrad Howell-CAPTDlN- End, was hard to heat.
He tackled everything and anything that came
his way. He was a real captain and a
champion at catc.ing pas:er.
Richard Doering, Guard, held the spirit of a real
Lion. This position os one or the hardest on
tha team but he made it look easy.
Glenn Hill, Center, made it hard for every tewn
we played against. His passes from center
were right to the spot.
Oucar Little, Guard, never gave up, he was in
ovary play and willing to help in every way.
Dill Meeks, End, is a Hood second year man. Ne
could take plenty of punishment.
Carter Morse, Tnd, is always full of spirit and
plonty of fight. He was always ready when he
was called upon to help.
Riley Orrell, Guard, was always in there fiwhtlng
for tic team.
Jesse Porter, Jullback, was hard to stcpg when
it came to hunting he was the berries.
A. J. Thompson, Center, would move his like
he would a flyg A. J. was a hard tackler.
Eduard Wenzel, Halfback, was an expert at driving
the line and never missed a tackle.
Elbert Rhodes, Tackle, was in every play and when
they tried to come over him, they met a stone
wall. '
Brady Beech, Quarterback, was one of the hardest '
runners in the backfield and had plenty of
spirit.
Doriee Dukes, Tackle, was a hard man to move and
could he fight? He has one more year and will
be plenty good next year.
Mason Howell, End, is the captain elect for next
year. he was one of the hardest tacklers and
blockers on the team.. Ve was down under evgry
punt.
Frazier Holliday, Guard, was plenty hard to handle
and he could stop any play that came ovor him.

Eugene Lindsey, Fullback, was the hardest runner
on the team. He was fart and shifty. He was
a good punter and a handy man at throwing
passes.
Rex Soule, Tackle, is a new man but he has one
more year to show what he is made of. We
believe he has it in him.
Hermit Flowers, Guard, showed plenty of fight and
we hope he will keep up the good work in the
coming rears.
Homer Leech, End, was a good man when it came to
catching passes. His long legs showed him to
be hard to handle nent year.
Bennie Deering, Velfbfck, was a herd blocker and
tackler.
Virgil Christensen, Quarterback, played four years
of mood football. his l55 lbs. was a demon to
hall carriers when he tackled.
Billy Cflloway, Center, has plenty of firht. The
Lions are counting on you. Stick to it
Enlyce Dukes, Halfheck, showed good spirit. Tatch
him next year.
Roy Reeves, Tackle never gave up. When the
opposing team saw this boy, they ran the other
WUY 0
Franklin Helton, Tackle, showed that he knew what
the game was all about this year. He has three
more years to s?ow us hot to play it. Here's
luck.
