The Student Council is a small group of
elected students who represent the student
body's interests and needs. This year the
council has been involved in many activ-
ities, like the cleaning of the courtyard,
and the Queen's Float, and many money-
making activities. Just a few of these
money-making activities included the
selling of Christmas Coloring books.

The National Honor Society is a service organized
group that raises money by sponsoring the Back to
School Dance. Each member is chosen for his leader-
ship, school service. participation in clubs and extra-
curricular activities, citizenship, and academic quali-
ties. Every member also completes at least twenty
hours of volunteer work. This year the group gave half
the money they earned to the Hurly Burn Unit, this unit
was chosen by vote of the general membership.
