f our scho ls do not do thelr part 1n so tralnlng our chlldren,
we are not accompllshlng our magor purpose lt 18 not enough to slmply

It 1S qulte prooer and des1rable that tuese facts ard Sp9C18l1ZBd

ieventh grade, Floyd Brown
During those years of grade school, we were a very actlve group, par
t1c1pat1ng ln many activ1ties such as plays, operettas, recltals, and the
like
Finally the day for which we had so long been wa1t1ng arr1ved, first
day of hlgh school The second day of high school one could hardly tell
who we were for we were all Ured N But the third day they got a good look
at us It didn't take our class long to get acquainted w1th the upper
classmen, who were always ready to give us advice Louise Bowman, Connie
Cunard, Sally Brown, Ellen Lynn, Doris Medley and Danny Glbson JO1DBd us
in the freshman year We elected Francis DiC1emente as our class presldent
We entered the sophomore year, feelmng rather big because we thought
of ourselves as upperclassmen
In the Junior year we had many excitlng and interestlng th1ngs to do
We edlted the Lltorian, gave our f1rst blg play, received our class rlngs
and, of course, somethlng that we shall never forget Jun1or Senior Prom
Jim Cameron and Frances Williams Joined us to participate in the fun, too
At last we have reached the peak of our high school education N
look back upon the many happy times we've had together, attendlng part1es,
participat1ng ln Prince of Peace contests, plays, and JUDIOT sen1or
banquets In this, our senior year, we had Jim Cameron as our class
presldent, an he proved very eff1cient in every task
We hope that we have gained respect from those who are st1ll in school
includ1n teachers we hope to apply ourselves to the best of our ability
to the l fe wh1ch lies befqre us I believe our motto best explains ue 'Not
finished, just beg n '
