LOCAL SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE A school administrator has one general aim in mind in planning the school curriculum and the schedule of activities-- namely, to prepare the pupils under his supervision to become better citizens of the world of tomorrow If future events show that we have been able, here at Flushing High School, to have improved and enriched your capacity for better l1V1ng on temporal, social, and spiritual planes, we shall feel amply repaid for any efforts or sacrifices that we may have made The world of tomorrow must look to you, the students of today, for leadership, you, who will be the workers, doctors, ministers business men, teachers, citizens, parents leaders and legislators of tomorrow The world today presents a gr ater challenge to in dividuals than it ever has done before We are meeting this challenge when we aid and contribute in any way, however small, to the well being of our fellowmen This challenge will always confront you You can face it with determination and high purpose, or you can ignore this challenge and go blithely and selfishly on the way of lea t resistance The choice is vours and for the sake of the future and humanity I ,gif if!!! 3 U . . n .
