In our junior year there was so much to do that no one seemed to know what he was dolng untll slowly the haze began to clear away and we found that all our labor had not been in vain We presented our play, 'A Ready Made Family' which everyone agreed was quite a success, held a class party, published the 'LitorianN, gave the JUHlOT Senlor Banquet, and, most important of all, we became seniors We no more than became settled ln our new role as dignlfled seniors then we found that school work still required much of our tlme Speeches, debates, sports, paper drive, clothlng drlve, class play, muslo, Junlor Senior Banquet, Baccalaureate, and, finally, Commencement rounded our years have reached thls goal in our quest for knowledge only to find that we have a stlll hlgher goal ahead of us when natlons as well as lndlviduals learn to llve togeth er in harmony We, as we go out into the world, shall never forget the good tlmes we have had or the lasting frlendshlps we have gained at Flushlng Hlgh Coodby, then, dear Alma Mater, and may we make you proud of each one of us Donald Whiston A6 CLASS WILL We, the most honorable and dignlfled members of the Senior Class in the year of our Lord, one thousand nlne hundred and forty six, being of sound mlnd and dlSpOSlng memory, do make, ordaln, publish, and declare thls to be our last Wlll and Testament To the faculty, we bequeath the strength and forti tude to bear our passing, and the courage to start a new year without our famlliar, smiling faces around the high school To the freshmen, we leave all the excess wlsdom we acqulred during our four years of high school, and our permlssion to strlve to be a better class than the amaz ing one that graduated in l9L6 To the sophomores, we leave all the dignity and sophie tication we marvelous and admirable seniors possessed all 18 . v ,, U v , . - .
