C' OUNSELORS As a senior counselor Mr. Patterson is very anxious to ee the seniors finish high school, graduate, and start a ife of their own. ln his spare time he enjoys playing olleyball, and taking short trips on his motorcycle. The freshman counselor, Mr. Butler, is a very nderstanding man. He is very glad that we got off to a ood start and hopes for a fulfilling year. ln his spare time e swims, travels from coast to coast and spends time at is cabin in Mt. Lemon. Mrs. Blair is very happy to be working with students. he looks forward to helping them cope with their pro- lems. She was thrilled when she won the Teacher Of he Year award, and was very thankful for the ecognition. ix , A FR Dave Patterson, Jim Butler, Karyn Blair, BR Jean Clark, Mark Latham, Becky Quick, and Marc Burk Mrs. Clark, our newest addition to the counseling team, is getting to know the students and administration very well. She enjoys the other counselor's warm attitude and accep- tance. She plays musical instruments, sings songs, does crafts and sews. She is our junior counselor. As coach of the golf team, Dr. Latham has had a great time at Flowing Wells. He loves to coach and play golf. He really enjoys working with the kids and helping them out with their problems. He is very well liked by both the students and the administration. We all hope that he is going to be with us for future years to come. Our sophomore counselor this year is Betty Quick. She has found everyone here to be friendly and easy to work with. She enjoys downhill skiing and playing the guitar. 97
