CLASS HISTORY As graduation day draws near, we, the senior class, look back over our high schoolyears. June 10, 1960, will bring to fulfillment our four years of high school, years in which we have wo r k e d , studied, and played together--h a v e grown with our school. Ten of our classmates have spent all their school years at Flowing Wells, and remember the little, two room school of 1948, in which they started lst grade. These class members are: Nibs Douglas, Sally Ras- messen, Linda Kelley, Gary Sawyer, Janet LaValle, Bar- bara Busacke 1-,Cloise Barker, Randy Holladay, Kenny Har - per, and Paul Harper. Growing with the school since our Freshman year, our 80 member graduating class will be the largest in the history of Flowing Wells High School a class that has participated in many F firsts. One of the most unique firsts for our class was the part we played in frosh 1n1t1at1on the year was started at this school, when we became the first official caballero frosh Roaring into our Sophomore year we became famous for the way we put on dances with our poi Roaring Twenties, and Hern ndo s Hideawa As active participants in schoo a airs uring our Junior year e c bers helped make the prom, Three Coins in a Fountain a spectacular success with red roses sparkling water splashing in a tiered fountain Helping to build spirit and tradition senior class members have worked vigorously in planning and or ganizing student affairs throughout our final year With the hope that our support of school policies and activities has made a record of example worthy be followed by senior classes of future years we the class of 1960 thank for their counsel and assis tance, the administration and faculty of Flowing Wells High School

'P' BUSINESS MANAGER JOHN BAUMAN The cafeteria staff daily prepares nutritious, delicious meals for the Flowing Wells students and faculty. The well-equipped kitchen facilities of our cafeteria make it possible for the women of the cafeteria staff to prepare and serve meals to hundreds of people every day. STUDENTS AT NOON The creation of a new office, that of Business Manager, broughtto us this year John J. Bauman. Mr. Bauman received his B.S. degree from the University of South Dakota and his Master's de- gree in business administration from the Uni- versity of Arizona. Prior to his appointment at Flowing Wells, Mr. Bauman held the position of accountant at the Apache Powder Co. During World War II Cap- tain Bauman served in the United States Army in the European Theater. As Business Manager of the District he is res- ponsible for looking after financial affairs of the district, the cafeteria, and student accounts. Mr. Baurnan is also responsible for the opera- tion and maintenance of all school buildings and grounds.
