Housemofher ond Lobby Miss Lucy Newman, housemother, does much to maintain the dormitory as a home away from home. One of the things a student looks forward to most is a letter. Taking advantage of the spacious lobby, a student spends some of her spare time relaxing. Newspapers, magazines, and television available in this "living room" enable a busy nurse to keep informed on world events. A student maintains her musical skills by playing the new piano and enjoying songfests. The lobby also serves as a place to receive and entertain guests. 7
