ON SALE My Fellow Colleagues, It is with the highest esteem that I have had the opportunity to serve as your S.G.A. President for this academic year. I can truly say that it has not been easy trying to bring about some positive changes as well as being able to satisfy you at the same time. Serving in this capacity requires that one gives 100% support in the upbuilding of this institution. As we reflect through these pages of time, at our laughter and our tears, our smiles and our cheers, we can say we have come this far by faith. If you can recall the platform that I based my campaign on, you should note that my mission has been accom- plished. We now have our tennis courts, we have ventilation in the dormitories, more campus activities, a very successful Homecoming with a nationaly known entertaining group. I hope that you have enjoyed these con- veniencies as well as the entertainers. As I close I would like you to know that we will lift our hearts and spirits to Dear old FMC where as we will be able to keep the dreams alive of our founding fathers and mothers of this our insti tutions. To carry out the mission of FMC and that is Academic Excellance, I bid to each of you a very successful future as we here at FMC enter our 2nd century of Educating Black Minds. Remember a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Striving together to make things better. Thanks to all of you for your support and to the SGA Cabinet thank- you. Wendell Carder SGA President

Library Florida Memorial CoHage 15800 N. W. 42nd Ave, Miarai, Fla. 33054 Greetings to my fellow constituents, There is so much to be said about the 1979-80 academic school year here at Florida Memorial College. It is heartwarming and inspirational to me to see the way we the students exemplify and live out the Lion ' s creed. I can sincerely say, that by being a part of the Florida Memorial College family, I have gained tremendous knowledge and experience that will help me be proficient in my life ' s endeavors. Having been involved with the Student Government Association for the last three years, I have been privileged to serve you the student body as your Vice-President for 1979-80. I know that some may feel that the SGA was not up to par, however, we did put forth our best efforts and an objective student would realize that fact. To all those persons who contributed to the successful funtioning of the SGA during the academic year, I ex- tend to you my deepest and warmest thanks. Special recognition must go to our President, Dr. Willie C. Robinson, Dr. Dudley O. Cawley, Dean of Student Affairs, to our advisors, Mrs. Warren and Dr. Arenas and to many others. As we continue to have many more successful years, I encourage all, the administration, faculty, staff, and you the student body to think positive toward our institution. As students we can greatly aid our institution by becoming united and joining forces with faculty and staff in supporting the efforts of our administration and vice versa for the administration. Let us be as one. Sharon Y. Singleton Vice-President SGA
