We lament the sudden passing of our fellow classmate, but in our sorrow, we remind ourselves that tomorrow is uncertain and that life passes away like a shadow. In pausing to give respect to one whom we think portrayed high Christian ideals on campus, we believe that Thurley ' s having at- tended Florida Normal made it a better place in which to live simply because he lived here. We know that the years he spent here on campus for intellectual preparation were not easy years, but he did not shirk the responsibilities that they brought. Of this we can all be proud. Thurley will continue to be with us and the tradition of this school for he will be remembered by the qualities of spirit and action that he possessed and exhibitied; by his attempt to always display those qualities which reflected a fundamental belief in the sacredness of the individual human personality, his own no less than that of his fellow classmates. Our prayers, our hopes, and our blessings are in remembrance of you, Thurley Brown. THE ADMINISTRATION Interns during the first Semester LAWRENCE C.
