F955 0 MSDE Z lst ROW: joe McKinney, Larry Gutierrez, Manager, Sheffield jordan: 2nd Row: Tony Jiminez, Jim Busby, Gary Moore, Abel Rodriquez, Greg Celaya J V's I-Iave a Wifinning COACH: Cy Henry Season Although the JV's came in first in the conference -- in fact, just barely came out ahead with an over-all season record of 8-6 -- they showed spirit, hustle and drive all the time they were on the court. Even when the score and time were against them, they never gave up fighting for the ball. This often by a narrow margin, showed their ability to think and act under pressure, an important asset for the varsity team next year as most of the starters for the JV's will move up. Mr. Cy Henry, the coachofthe JV squad, is the 6th grade teacher at the elementary school. He is a graduate and former athlete of FUHS and therefore lmows the tough competition that the team was up against. We, the members of the annual staff and the members of the J V basketball team, say thank you, Mr. Henry, for your time and devotion in making the JV basketball team of '71 a good team. ll
