ADVISERS: Mr. Gibson and Miss Crough. Mr. McKean was the third adviser. Freshman Class 30 After the hustle and bustle of getting registered had calmed down, the freshmen set out to become one of us. This, of course, wasn't accomplished until the traditional c'Freshman Initiation. At this point the sophomores, headed by Presi- dent Bernice Padilla, took over and issued orders for freshman dress and conduct to be observed on the morning of September 5. Sophomores also worked out an assembly, mak- ing free use of freshman talent. Freshman labor produced the gleaming, white 'Ti' on the hill overlooking our town. The class proved to be such good sports that they were rewarded with a dance sponsored by the sophomores on the following week. Now they were really a part of FUHS. They elected a slate of temporary class officers. ln No- vember they held an election of permanent officers and class representatives to student council to serve for the remaining part of the school year. Secretary, Barbara Brady, Treasurer, Mary Carmeng Andazola, Vice-Presidentg Woody Grantham, and President, Bob England.
