Bottom: Treese Pruitt and Lynette Dewall give a little show at lunch time. There was so much spirit during home- coming week! Most everyone joined in the fun one way or another. One thing that makes homecoming week significant was the powder puff game. The juniors and sophomores were on one team and the seniors and freshman on the other one. The game ended in a lie. After the powder puff game. everybody went over to the junior high to scream chants in front of the huge bon fire. Then all of a sudden everyone was off hand- in-hand on the snake dance. But nobody wanted to let the night die for everyone gathered together for pizza at the Lind- sey's. But all good things have to end. Everyone remembers the joys, the sor- rows. and the laughter that went along with this years homecoming week. But WAIT! There was more the next night! For the Homecoming dance was still to come!

Homecoming week is full of fun! Starting it all of is slave and nerd day. There were all types of slaves, from babies to chickens to ladies of the night. Everywhere you looked there was someone dressed extremely funny. when someone cheated at the game. How would you like whipped cream all over your face and hair? Just ask one of the persons who were in the line of fire (a very sticky one)!!! Lunch time was never boring! Mr. Barber got quite upset Above.- Tonya Goff and Kathy Magnusson are all out for Nerds. 4 Above: Mike Whaley has a fancy shot for the other side of the net in balloon volleyball. Below: Mr. Lujan (the mystery slave) makes a lovely lady: well maybe the mustache has got to go!

The Never Ending Days At Florence High ... (Or So It Seems) Above: On to Broad way I Leon Cortez shows his charm! Smile pretty. Leon. Below. Here are our famous basketball, pom pon. and cheerleaders losing their fantastic figures by gorging themselves on a fifteen foot Sundae! As you go through each day some of the best times happen while you're in High School. These two pages are here to remind you about some of those times. Even though sometimes school was frustrating, bor- ing. and you thought it would never end. when it does you don 7 remember just the bad times, you remember all those special memories like walking through the halls with your special guy girl dressing up in crazy clothes and enjoying doing it going on all those fun choir, foreign language, band, career trips and many, many more things. $ Here are two very pretty girls? John Cobbler and Shawn Waller are looking very pretty on slave day. Lisa Stiefle and Suzie Freeman snooze on the bus as they return home from a bus trip.
