Page Slx Senlor Class HlSlOTy In 1948 Florence Hlgh School was blessed wlth 63 bashful bewlldered green Freshmen We were 1nv1ted to the usual Sophomore Freshmen get acqualnted palty and from then on had ve1y httle trouble paxtmclpatmg 1n school act1v1t1es Oul Sophomore year belng more confldent and polsed we gave the Freshmen a Lets know each other better party whlch was a b1g success We took part 1n the lnter class basket ball tournament and copped f1rst place Just to reassure the standmg the Sophomore glrls also took f1rst Prom whlch was later Sald to be a blg success Thls year many of us took part ln Western Day band and we put on a show Junlor Fun of 51 Our class play Cyclone Sally dlrected by Mrs Prator was a h1t We entered our Senlor year wlth one thought 1n mlnd MONEY AND HOW TO MAKE. IT We made lt Wlth scrap drlves sales and our semor play Hot Water Hero W1th thls money we w1ll go on a trxp and put out thls annual Now as we look back at these four wonderful years we hate to leave, but we must go and make way m the world once agam bashful bew11dered green Bxeshmen .
