Junior Class Officers Beth Ham, Secretary; Jean Ziolkowski Treasurer; Mr. Francis Williams. Sponsor; Bill Dailey. Vice-President; Tcm Camerlo. President. Class History Ah! At last, in the year of 1943, sixty-three green, but determined Freshmen entered the halls of Florence High School. Everything seemed strange, but we learned about it in time. Wc were invited by the Sophomores to a get-acquainted party. We got into the swing of things by having the largest group out for sports. Many of the Freshmen girls entered the Pep Club. We started our Sophomore year with fifty-eight members. We hid gained a little more confidence by this t'me, so we started off with a bang! We gave a party for the “Freshmen” who had just entered F.H.S. We for the second time, took part in the contest plays. We were proud to take first in. the inter-class basketball tournament; then, to be backed by the Scphomore girls who. also, took first. Many members of our class were initiated into the F” C ub. In cur third year, our class members worked in dramatics, band, musical groups and other clubs. We took third in the Western Day Contest. We put on an amateur show, “Junior Fun of ’51.” We had a large representation in all kinds of sports. We worked plenty hard raising money for what Will be the best Prom to be held in F.H.S. The Junior Class play, “Cyclone Sally,” directed by Mrs. Prater, was a success. We look over our three wonderful years together in F.H.S. We can’t help but feel sorry that they are over. We are wondering what the year of “1952,” our fourth and final year in F.H.S., will hold for us! Page Eleven
