Winning both of two meets over the summer, this club is working for high goals and achieving them on their way. These boys lift during the off season. The F Club is made up of participants of sports. The sports include football, boys' and girls basket- ball. softball and cheerleaders. The sponsor of the F Club is head coach Ronnie Cottrell. FCA is made up of athletes working together as a team — offering each other spiritual strength, sup- port. and the opportunity to grow in the Christian faith as it relates to life and sports. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes received its charter in 1985 and its first officers were Amanda Steadham. Presi- dent: Teresa Taylor, Vice-President; Angie Steadham, Secretary: Marilyn Johnson, Treasurer; Dee Dee Brantley. Chaplain; John Fields. Social Chaplain. The members of this club meet every morning before school for a devotion and prayer. President of the Joy Club is Sami Stewart; Vice-President is Chris Folsom; and Doreen Heller is Secretary- Treasurer. Their sponsor is Mrs. Shelmerdene Folsom. The club helps bring Christmas gifts to foster children and the elderly by contributing fifty dollars to the Fscamhia County Department of Pen- sions and Seeurity. A contribution of twenty-five dollars was also made to the Statue of Liberty Fund. 30
