Juniors and Seniors gather around to await their turn for pictures. 1984 Prom Queen — Kelly Boutwell crowns the 1985 Prom Queen Rhonda Hatfield. The Seniors begin the night as they lead-out with their dates. 1985 Prom Queen — Rhonda Hatfield. 1984 Prom Queen and King — Kelly Boutwell and Greg Hinote. 1985 Prom King — Stan Smith. 1st runner-up Lynn Mclnnis. 2nd runner-up — Susan Curry, 3rd runner-up — Liz Hollington. Slow dancing brings couples closer together. 1984 Prom King — Greg Hinote crowns the 1985 Prom King — Stan Smith. Couples dance as the theme song “All I Need is played. After working many hours, the Juniors produc- ed a finished project. Seniors Greg Chavers and Doug Welch enjoy dancing with their dales. 6

Intensifies The faculty works to build strong minds and character in a countless number of students. The enthusiastic attitudes of our organizations have helped to raise the spirit to an all lime high. Wrestling has become a favorite pastime for Coach Cottrell’s P.K. classes. Paul Bell studies hard to help raise his grades. The “Mom Squad” cheers at the Homecoming pep rails to help raise the spirit. The band practices each dav for Kridav night performances. 5

Excilemenl mounted, as the Juniors and Seniors anxiously awaited the arrival of Prom night. Lining up for the lead-out. with their dates, the Seniors realized that school was almost over for them. They were followed in the leadoul by the Juniors and their dales. The theme song All I Need” was played by “Star System as parents and friends watched the happy couples. Before the night came to a close Prom King and Queen of 1984, Greg Hinote and Kelly Boulwell, crowned the 1985 Prom King and Queen, Stan Smith and Rhonda Hatfield. The tradition lived on as Prom 1985 was held in the gymnasium April 26. 7
