Belles Clockwise from the top: The contestants for the Miss F.H.S. pageant were as follows: Denise Smith, Lisa Chavers, Dee Dee Brantley, Kathy LaSala, Lynne Mclnnis, Lea Hancock, Paula Ates, Sandy Sales, Junia Court- ney, Susan Curry, Jennifer Kilgore, Christi Stewart, Michelle Baldwin, and Jody Courtney. The setting for the stage was furnished by Mr. Peyton Williams and the Ag. 'Dept. The scenery was designed by the F.H.S. Art Committee and Mrs. Ann Jackson under the direction of Mr. Eugene Stallworth. Miss F.H.S. 1984, Susan Locklier, crowns the winner. The top five Miss F.H.S. 1985, Junia Courtney; 1st runner-up, Christi Stewart; 2nd runner-up, Lynne Mcln- nis; 3rd runner-up, Lea Hancock; and 4th runner-up, Jennifer Kilgore. Christmas Clockwise from the top: Christmas Belles was the theme of the 1985 Miss F.H.S. pageant. It was held at the F.H.S. auditorium on Nov. 29, 1984. Mrs. Gayle Hathorne, Mrs. Mary Grissett, and Mrs. Joyce Busky served as the judges of the pageant. Judge Earnie White emceed the pageant and his wife, Angie White, provided a fashion show for entertainment. Other entertain- ment was provided by Phillip Young, Charlotte Henderson, Kenny Shivers, and Traci Godwin. Kasey Nelson, Buffie Holt, Sandra Washington, Liz Hollington, Sharie Sellers, and Cheryl White (not pic.), cooked and served dinner for the judges, and served refreshments. Mrs. Beverly Ferguson and Mrs. Sherrie Lisenby sponsored the pageant.
