A Night to Remember The night was tinged with a coloring of romance as the couples gathered at the gym for the 1984 Junior-Senior Prom. Decorations were provided by the Jr. Class and Robert Howard provided the music. The theme song, Tonight I Celebrate My Love, was played during the lead-out and was played later as the prom king and queen, Greg Hinote and Kelly Boutwell, danced alone on the floor. At the end of the evening, the couples left with stars in their eyes. April 27 was truly a night to remember. Clockwise from the top: Couples wait in line for the music to begin. Lorie Lord, Beth Watson, Lorie White, and Dwayne Conrad and dates sway to the music of Robert Howard. The theme for the 1984 fr.-Sr. Prom. F.H.S. Drama Club, directed by Mrs. Brenda Gandy, presented the play Web of Murder by Jonathon Troy on April 19 and 20, 1984. Mrs. Gandy was assisted by Miss Pat Ridley. Other members of the production staff included Student Director and Makeup Artist, Susan Locklier; Hair Stylist, Rachel Pugh; Set Construction, Dwayne Barker and Voc. Ag. Dept; Props, Rhonda Hatfield; Lighting and Sound Technicians, Chris Folsom, Mike Wolford, Tippy Wagner, and Jonathon Simpson; Curtain, Dee Bondurant; Publicity Directors, Denise Smith, Rachel Pugh and Renee Fowler. Mary and her fiance, Keith steal an affectionate kiss. Dr. Adler hypnotizes Minerva while Mary and Keith watch. 12
