 r o As the days drift slowly by in this another year at Flomaton High, so we hope you will drift through this book recalling the fondest memories. Our firm purpose and fervent hope in assembling the HURRICANE is that each reader will relive, through these pictures, bright and exciting moments of the past. Our lives are inescapably linked with the town we call home.'’ We are molded by the social, educational, and religious influences around us. Our memories are seen against the background of old F.H.S.: the football stadium, the gym, and the class- rooms. Let us hope that our quest to know, to grow, to be led, and to be educated in this friendly Southern town of the Cotton State” was a challenge and fulfillment for all. May this HURRICANE of ’69 grow in value and bring joyful reminiscences in years to come.
