JANITOR Fred Black Principal’s Address The purpose of education is to develop a democratic society and to contribute to the effectiveness and happiness of each student. Parents, teachers, and students must cooperate in order to attain this goal. Not only must parents and teachers work together in harmony but also students should apply themselves to the tasks assigned. Then all can feel a sense of accomplishment from work completed together. It is my sincere hope and prayer that we might all complete this succeeding year with a feeling of having done our share toward achieving the purpose of education. To the class of '59, I wish as much success in their future tasks as they have shown in carrying out their work at Flomaton High School.
