The squad, 23 members strong, played good ball throughout the year. The team will lose only 2 members through graduation. They are Herman Holt, and Dewain Jordan. Holt lettered four years, was captain this year and the team punter. Jordan lettered two years. We are looking forward to a larger and more ex- perienced team in 1953. This year the cheerleaders did a wonderful job of leading the student body in the yells at the football games and in the Pep Meetings. They have worked hard, practicing new yells and working out routines. The cheerleaders represent the school spirit, and its easy to tell how much school spirit a school has by the actions of the cheerleaders. They tried to bring out the spirit of all the members of the Student Body, and we think they did an excellent job!!!
