With our greatest sincerity and love, we the Annual Staff of 1952 proudly dedicate The Hurricane to the Senior Spon- sor, Mrs. Shirley L. Vickey. She has given encouragement and understanding to all with whom she works. Her sincere interest, service, kindness and fairness and a broad knowledge have been devoted to a profession given in building a better world through educa- tion. We shall always temember her, THE STAFF . . vV • 'C v-w . • • %. kt v j .V- ;; o The first serious question that arises in one's mind after reaching a reasonably correct esti- mation of one's self is, How am I go- ing to achieve the goals I have set for myself? Give and take in matters not fundamentally wrong is the principle by which people live together harmoniously and effectively. One would recognize this basic fundamental early in life. I do not think we can find a more effective testing ground than the school, as the faculty and students work ana play together in the molding of character and achievement of purpose. I sincerely hope that each of you has these basic fundamentals as you leave KLomaton High School. t £CO CL+.’ JjJ Pot PP 7 £Ali Do ' +4 XI V J5e !BD d £±S V H +??L£0S?? MR. THOMAS C. Through all our days. The years we've been here, Are years we hold dear, They make us feel near, Although we part. As years roll by Thou wilt be nigh, We always will, Love thee still Within our hearts. Although we're leaving, Our hearts are grieving Our thoughts are weaving. Sweet dreams of you. When trials beset us. Please don't forget us, So we part with fond heart, And sad adieu. COLOR: Maroon and White FLOWER: White Carnation MOTTO: Do what you can today, for tomorrow may never come.
