However, those who witnesseo these games, know that Coach Thompson worked hard with a predominately green team, and that the boys made a very cped1 table showing in every game they played, most of this team will be back for the 194! SEASON, and the scores for that season will tell quite a Different story- The 194! Season opened with FaIRHope, the last histle leaving F.H.S. on the tail-end of a S-0 score. The following week, the gridders journeyed to Bay Minette, and in 90 DEGREE WEATHER, THE GaME ENDED IN A ORAW, 6-6. Brewton, Mllers were next on the men'd, and against this powerful, and EXPERIENCED TEAM, VE MaDE THE POOREST SHOWING OF THE SEASON, BEING SWAMPED 34-0. W. S. Neal, followed, and wl reaked vengeance on them 33-5. This VICTORY PUT US IN HIGH SPIRITS FOR THE FoLEV GAME, AND IN A GaME Fll..„ED WITH ACTION FROM START TO FINISH, WE LED IN SCORE 9-6 UNTIL THE FINAL MINUTE OF the game when they slipped a short pass over our backs, and took the game 15-9. Atmore took us next, and left us the victim of a 19-7 score. The FOLLOWING WEEK, WE DEDICATED OUR NEWLY LIGHTED FIELD, BY BLANKING THE STRONG Milton outfit, 12-0. We next took on Century on their new field, and won 6-0. Frisco City game next, and we ended the season by defeating them 30-6.
