C, Jackson, Millaro Killam, Marvin Knowles, Marion Locklier, Herman McCaw, Melvis Mize, Zin Noun, James Rowell, William Snioer, Byron Strength, Delphin Strength, Janies White, FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA CREED I believe in the future of farming, with a faith born not of words out of deeds — achievements won by the present and past generations of farmers} in the promise of better days through better ways, even as the better things we now enjoy have come up to us from the struggles of former years, I believe that to live and work on a good farm is pleasant as well as chal- lenge; tor I KNOW THE JOYS AND DISCOMFORTS OF FARM LIFE ANO HOLO AN INBORN FONDNESS FOR THOSE ASSOCIATIONS WW1CH, EVEN IN HOURS OF DISCOURAGEMENT I CAN NOT DENY, I BELIEVE IN LEADERSHIP FROM OURSELVES AND RESPECT FROM OTHERS, I BELIEVE IN MY OWN ABILITY TO WORK EFFICIENTLY ANO THINK BLEARLY, WITH SUCH KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL AS I CAN SECURE, ANO IN THE ABILITY OF ORGANIZED FARMERS TO SERVE OUR OWN AND THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN MARKETING THE PRODUCT OF OUR TOIL, I BELIEVE WE CAN safeguard those rights against practices ano policies that are unfair, I BELIEVE IN LESS DEPENDENCE ON BEGGING AND MORE POWER IN BARGAINING} IN THE LIFE ABUNDANT ANO ENOUGH HONEST WEALTH TO HELP MAKE IT SO - FOR OTHERS AS WELL AS MYSELF} IN LESS NEED FOR CHARITY AND MORE OF IT WHEN NEEDED} IN GEING HAPPY MYSELF ANO PLAYING SQUARE WITH THOSE WHOSE HAPPINESS DEPENDS UPON ME-, I believe that rural America can and will hold true to the best traoitions IN OUR NATIONAL LIFE AND THAT I CAN EXERT AN INFLUENCE IN MY HOME AND COMMUNITY WHICH WILL STAND SOLID FOR MY PART IN THAT INSPIRING TASK,

A. was hostess first this year to the county F, H, A or- ganization. F. H, A. chapter members from Brewton, Atmore and Flomaton were there. When Atmore was hostess,several Flomaton members attended The F, H, A, mas prepared ano served a couple of banquets this year A few dollars PROFIT WAS realized. At the Halloween Carnival the F, H. A, sold brunswIch stew suppers in the Home Economics Department The chapter won the $1» prize for the best decorated room On April II at 6:30 P. M. a chicken barbecue for F. H. A. and F, F. A. parents WAS GIVEN UNDER THE PJNE TREES ON THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. THIS WAS THE ANNUAL MOTHER- Daughter, Father-Son entertainment Over sixty-five parents, teachers ano students ATTENDEO Plans are being made for carrying next year’s F, H A, officers to the State F.
