Academy Thinclads Take Charge In Area Relays The 1984 Academy track team finished out a fine season, taking fourteenth place in State competition. The Eagles were well-trained and dedicated, resulting in a hard-working team. Led by team captain Larry Hawthorne and co-captain Bernard Cole, the thinclads raced their way to a first place trophy at the Bentley Relays and several second and third places throughout the season.
