Five oT The council members aTTended The annual STudenT Council ConvenTion held in Nogales, Arizona, on December 5 and 6: and our represenTaTives obTained The honor oT having nexT year's convenTion in FlagsTaTT. STudenT body oTTicers were MilTon Evans, presidenT: Bill Jakle, vice-presidenT: BeTTy Sim- mons, secreTary: Carol FlinT, Treasurer: and Marshall Knowles, social manager. He called spe- cial meeTings and carried on all council and associaTed sTudenT meeTings. ln The regular weekly meeTings MilTon discussed problems oT The school and ways oT meeTing Them. He has done an excellenT iob which has proven his abiliTy as a leader. As vice-presidenT oT The sTudenT body, Bill carried ouT his duTies wiTh a greaT deal oT suc- cess. When MilTon was absenT, Bill handled all meeTings oT The sTudenT council. He was also in charge oT The Treshman iniTiaTion. Carol was in charge oT all money going in and ouT oT The Treasury Tor school purposes. She lcepT an accuraTe seT oT books and had Them up To daTe aT all Times.
