At present she carries 145 enlisted men and twelve officers. FINCH iS a unit of Escort Squadron Seven and is currently homeported in Guam, Mariana Islands. During her service, FINCH has operated in the Atlantic and Pacififl Oceans during World War Two. In the Korean Conflict FINCH waS a Coast Guard Ocean Station Vessel in the Pacific. Between December 1956 and May 1960 she was a unit of the Western Continental Air Defense System. Since june 1965 FINCH has served with the Seventh Fleet in the Western Pacific.
