I Flashing Military Dress . . Clever drills---and the Classiest of style---The Drum Corps adds a wealth of color with many sparkling ap- pearances this year . XVearing white and gold military uniforms and tall plumed hats. the Drum Corps was greeted with enthusiasm when it made its initial appearance at the Montgomery Couny Fair last fall. A trip to the American Royal Livestock Exposition at Kansas City. Mo.. in company' with the Field Kindley Band, was the highlight of the corps' out-of-town appearances during the school year. The girls recall their trip to the Republican notification at Topeka last July' as one of the most pleasurable excursions since the groups organization. Last tall the corps accepted an invitation by' the merchants of lola to participate in an Armistice Day' cele- bration. Three first places and one second were the results of the nine tournaments attended.
